Why not bring back a heirloom chair, or a much loved table back into tip top condition? Even if you have something that you believe has been damaged beyond use, I may be able to bring it back to decorative use. ( e.g I have brought a fire damaged side table back into use).
The range of woods found used for period bannister rails is fascinating. High quality mahogany, pitch pine or oak a a few examples. They can be made to look stunning and add a beautiful Center piece to a hallway. Sanded back, cleaned and varnished they really can be a piece of art.

Whether a new wooden floor has been laid or you are looking to bring back to life a period floor, the service would include heavy duty sanding to remove damage or marks, working down the grades to get to a nice smooth surface that will receive an oil or varnish finish.
Worktops often suffer what is perceived to be near fatal damage. Swelling due to surface absorbing moisture because the finish has worn out, burn marks or water rings. All these issues can be removed, the worktop flattened and refinished with a high-grade oil, to leave it beautiful and protected.
A fantastic way of bringing an old kitchen back to life is with some paint, don't send them to the tip. You may love the cabinets and the layout, but wish to have a different look. Solid wood door fronts can be sanded and refinished in any colour under the sun, or you may wish to go for a varnished, waxed or oiled look.
